Dr. K. M. Suresh is a senior ophthalmologist with over three decades of experience in eye care, clinical practice, and medical education. He completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore University in 1985, and went on to pursue his MS in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bangalore Medical College, in 1990.

Early in his career, he received a Gold Medal in the year 1992 for his research work on the role of argon laser photocoagulation in diabetic retinopathy, reflecting his strong academic foundation and interest in advanced eye treatments.

Dr. Suresh has held several academic positions, serving as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore from 1990 to 1998. He later worked as an Associate Professor at Rajarajeshwari Medical College and as a Professor and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore from March 2016 to May 2018.

In 1991, he established Vidya Eye Clinic, which was later expanded into Vidya Eye Hospital in 1999, growing into a dedicated eye care center offering comprehensive ophthalmic services. His areas of expertise include cataract surgery, glaucoma management, diabetic eye care, and vitreoretinal procedures.
